All in all, it was a great week of freebies!

This weeks Freebies

These are some Freebies that came in the mail and some that we got from CVS this week. We used our ECB's to get the Gillette body wash, VO5 Shampoo & Conditioner. The other items were Freebies I signed up for over the past month that finally arrived. I'm especially excited to test out the Downy Unstopables that I received from Vocalpoint. Have you received any Freebies in the mail this week? I'd love to hear how you scored.

Went Shopping!

This week was a great week for coupon match ups with Walgreens & Dollar General. The hubs & I have been challenging ourselves to spend no more than our weekly budget of $17-$20 for all our purchases, however this week there were so many great deals. We were very careful to only get items that are actually needed for our use or that can be shared with others in need. We do not spend money just for the sake of getting a good deal. We try our best to be responsible with the money that God provides. Here is how it all worked out...

Walgreens
6 packs of Stayfree Maxipads @ $6.99 on sale for $1.99 (I had three BOGO coupons)= $5.97 (This is a heck of a deal when you consider that Wags already discounted the price by $5.00).

2 boxes of Mead 40ct. envelopes priced at $1.29 on sale for .69 cents= $2.07.

2 Tylenol Precise products @ $7.99 used two July IVC coupons for $3.00 off which brought the price down to $4.99 each (I had two $5.00 off coupons)= FREEBIE plus .02 cent overage.

Freebie Shopping Trip #2

Freebie shopping trip #2 took us to Walgreens, here's what we scored.

12 bottles of Bayer Advanced Aspirin @ $3.00 each (I had twelve $2.00 off coupons)= $12.00. I had to do twelve separate transactions to get $1.00 each in Register Rewards for a total of $12 RR, good towards my future purchases.

Total Retail Value= $36.00
Total OOP Expense= $12.00
Total back in RR= $12.00 towards future purchases
Total back in Bayer Advanced Rebates= $12.00 which makes this totally FREE!

4 sticks of Mitchum Advance Control Deodorant @ $2.99, Wags had an In Ad coupon making each stick $1.99 (I had four .75 cents off coupons)= $4.96

3 Walgreens Cleaning Wipes @ $3.00 that were on Unadvertised sale for $1.99 (I used 3 RR)= $2.97

Total Retail Value= $20.96
Total OOP Expense= $7.93

You may ask why I didn't use my other RR towards the Mitchum & Wags cleaning wipes, the reason being is that when you use a MFR coupon on an item such as those that were used on the Mitchum, you may not then use a RR towards it. In addition, I could only use 1 RR on each of the 3 Wags cleaners.

*BONUS #1* I didn't have to pay a penny of the $7.93 due to having a birthday gift card given to me by my Aunt Brenda! xoxo

*BONUS #2* I still have $9 in RR to spend for my next shopping trip!

Went freebie shopping!

*BONUS #1* 9 of the bottles of Body wash also came with a travel sized lotion freebie.

*BONUS #2*  I didn't have to pay a penny of the $13.25 as I used a birthday gift card given to me by my Aunt Brenda! xoxo

I didn't factor in the retail value of the travel sized lotions because I'm uncertain of their value.
