When rumors began swirling last year that Borders was not doing well financially, I quietly thought to myself 'what's gonna happen to all those employees & gift card recipients?' A press release from Borders confirmed that they will be closing all of their remaining stores as soon as this Friday through September. For those of you fellow bookworms that have a Borders gift card, now is the time to use them! I personally would not recommend using them online in case they do close this Friday and you may not receive your purchase.
